Making an Appointment

All surgeries are by appointment only.  To make an appointment with the doctor, nurse or phlebotomist please ask at reception or telephone 01579 362760.

If your problem is urgent please advise the receptionist and you will be seen the same day. You may not have a choice of doctors for urgent appointments.

For non-urgent problems you are free to see any doctor and will be offered the next available appointment. Appointments may be made up to 4 weeks in advance.

Attending an Appointment

Please make sure that you check in at reception.  We request patients arrive punctually and reserve the right to rebook your appointment if you arrive late.

Please advise us as soon as possible if you are unable to keep an appointment.

Telephone Advice

We are happy to speak to patients on the telephone. Please advise the receptionist that you wish a telephone consultation and the doctor will phone you between 11.30am – 12.00 noon or 5.30pm - 6.00pm.
 

Home Visits

If possible please try to telephone reception before 10:30am if you require a home visit.

A doctor may phone you back as it may be that your problem can be dealt with by telephone advice.

House visits are only available for patients who are housebound because of illness or disability.

Please remember that several patients can be seen in the practice in the time that it takes to make one home visit. There are also better facilities for examining and treating patients at the Health Centre.

Facilities

Disabled Access

As a purpose built, single storey building we have suitable disabled access to all areas of the surgery including car parking facilities, door entry system and disabled toilet facilities. If you need any help though, please ask a member of staff.

Confidential Area

If a patient or visitor would like a private area to discuss matters, please ask a member of staff.

EEFO approved

We are EEFO approved and offer a young person friendly service.

Breast feeding

If you would like a private area to breast feed your baby whilst you are at the surgery, contact reception who will be happy to find a private room.

Baby Changing

We have a baby changing facility in our Disabled toilet.

Free car parking

Free car parking in our own car park adjacent to the surgery.
